I wanted better looking wire covers, todays plastic spiral wire wraps are flimsy, and split on the side and look terrible. I wanted a chrome look and couldn't find it.....till walking through Lowes plumbing/bath dept. and saw showerhead hoses....perfect!

So I purchased a better quality replacement hose, 84" long, cut the ends off, then cut it in half. I disconnected the handlebar wire end pins from the connector, hoping I could stuff them thru, even tried staggering the ends, but to no avail, so I cut them off, then soldered the connections back to the matching wires coming from the main harness.

There's 11 wires to cram in that hose on the left side, 9 if you do not include the two that stick out to prevent you from starting in gear. I left those out, removed the switch, then soldered the two matching harness wires together...hope that works...

There are only 6 wires on the right side connector, so you can remove the 6 pins from the connector plug and work those out, stuff the wires thru the hose, then plug the pins back into the plug, no soldering here.

Much better looking now I think....by the way, the flat black-wrinkle finish risers and top shock covers are subject for a future update...
